I first noticed this Nordhavn 64 while crossing the bay after a weekend away. It turns out she was arriving direct from New Zealand.
The following day Professional Boat Care was introduced to the owner Eric Bloomquist to discuss a full detail of Oso Blanco while they returned to the USA for 3 months. Professional Boat Care was also appointed to provide a maintenance and minding service in their absence. It was pleasing to note their reaction to seeing their boat on return from the USA. It was also nice to read in their blog – “on our return to Australia the boat looked like new!”
Oso Blanco is the Bloomquist’s third and largest Nordhavn at 64 feet. They have been cruising now for over 10 years and 40,000 nautical miles with their son Bear, who has spent his entire life cruising the world’s oceans. They are currently in the Whitsunday Islands for a few months while making their way to Asia.
